Our Limousin and Belgian Blue cows graze on Meon Hill and produce the highest quality
beef, which is then prepared to your requirements by our on-site butcher. It’s hung
for a minimum of 3 weeks to improve flavour and tenderness, resulting in succulent
steaks and joints.
Our award winning sausages come in a range of flavours from traditional pork to spicy
Cumberland and are made here at the shop, along with our delicious beef, pork & apple
and lamb & mint burgers. All the bacon is dry cured for a superior taste.
In the summer months we produce our own home made BBQ range including many varieties
of sausages, burgers, grill sticks, spare ribs and marinated meats. For something different,
why not ask our butchers to butterfly a leg of lamb for a BBQ.
Be sure to come along to one of our tasting days coming up.
We also offer a range of gourmet speciality joints including our famous Greek Style
stuffed shoulder of lamb. Ideal for entertaining.
All our turkeys are free range and are either bronze or white. They are reared in
natural surroundings here on our farm, to TFTA quality standards and are fully mature
before slaughter, adding to the flavour and texture of the meat. Our team of butchers
would be happy to bone, stuff or prepare a turkey crown. Just call us to pre-order.
All the pork is from gilt pigs, which produces a traditional taste, and is sourced
from pig farmers close to our local abattoir, CE Partridge & Son, Bromsgrove. Rare
breed pork can be sourced on request, but our standard pork is Large White /
Landrace cross.
Newman’s of Newent supply all our free-range chickens which are processed on farm,
minimizing any stress from travel. We also have barn reared chickens from Seafield
Pedigrees in Beoley, near Redditch. They are also processed on farm and are reared
to the RSPCA Freedom Foods Standards.
Local game, including pheasant and venison, is available in season.
